80s are starting to pop up more and more in Waxhaw. Saw a white one on Providence Rd northbound this past weekend. Then, earlier today, I saw a red/maroon one at the intersection of Waxhaw Pkwy and Providence. Both looked at me, but no wave or even a nod. Guess they aren't enthusiasts? LOL!

I concur. Flashed my lights at an FJ Cruiser, got nothin'.
Come to think of it, every 80 I've come across, the drivers weren't very friendly. The only LC that actually acknowledged me (and even stopped to talk) was a 60 owner.

Very clean early 80 on 70 headed east towards Raleigh this afternoon.
It might be that they dont even know what they are driving, "an suv" maybe all they know. A little different than Jeep peeples, they have a "thing" going on their adverts and lifestyle. Land cruiser advertisements where more family haulers, high end soccer mom mobiles.

White 80 deflared with an ARB at Providence Motor works(?) Smith Family farm Rd in Stallings today. Couldn't get a pic, phone was too warm (no AC in the UR).

When I spotted it, it looked like a mother/son... Son driving, mother shotgun.
Light green and lightly modified 100 series with its left front bashed in and tire torn off on 440 at new Bern Ave this afternoon at 515 , in the road, causing miles of backups. Other cars were involved, but didnt see their damage. Sad sight. No pics though.
Spotted at Lowe’s foods in Kernersville this afternoon. Of course I had to park by him.
