Put my second set of tires on this past week since owning. These were at a great price but I found very little feedback from anyone who has tried them. Specs seem to be pretty good. They are definitely one of the more aggressive A/T tires I have seen that are also 3 peak rated. I did find some reviews on a random website, one of which was a 3500 truck that utilized for hauling large trailers. His negative comment was that they seemed too soft for his use, which I decided could be a pro for a lighter weight truck for a vehicle like this. Had them mounted Friday, they balanced easily and so far they feel quite a bit smoother than the General Grabber AT/X I had prior. I had both in the same size, LT275/70/R18. I noticed a decent hum driving home at 55-60 mph, checked pressures and they had them at 31 psi. My last set I maintained 39 psi with good luck so I made the adjustment to these. I might still notice a hum but it’s barely noticeable. Definitely not worse than the Grabbers. Time will tell though as they wear in. I will say I’m a sucker for the aesthetic of a good AT tire and these look great to me. Just thought I’d share what little information I have since I haven’t seen much mentioned about them. I do also have 1.25’’ BORA spacers for what that’s worth. Also worth mentioning that the grabbers were snug in the stock spare location but they did fit. These appear to be an even tighter fit but it did snug up in there with some finagling.

I've had 2 or 3 sets of Yokohama Geolander tires over the years. I swapped to BFG's, but I'm thinking about going back for my next set, They were always great tires, quieter and BFG's, and better in the rain.
 
they look good, never heard of them. Are they made in Japan?

Yes, they are made in Japan. As much as I prefer some from the US I do tend to trust Japanese items.

Will follow up here after some more time with them.
 
Thanks for this. Very close to getting new 275/70/18 tires on OEM 18" wheels, and am overwhelmed by the choices and hesitant to pull the trigger as everything I see is E range, was hping to get C range.
 
I have these tires bookmarked in a 295/70r18 size. (For when I move to 18" wheels) because it's a great size for lifted 100's - 34.3" x 11.6"
I like the siping and the aggressive shoulders. Looks like a reasonably good snow tire as well.

These are heavy trucks when loaded down with skids, sliders, bumpers, RTT's and a full camping load out. I found that I appreciated
the E-Rating when aired down to like 16-17lbs on the trails.
 
Nice, I really like the Yokohama tires. I wonder how the thread pattern differs from the X-AT variant?
It looks like A/T XD is pinned for studs.

I have the X-AT in Load E in the LT275/70/18 (~33in on Tundra rims). My only minor nitpick is on very hard pack snow these can break traction and my truck will skid. These held up really well when I went through Death Valley through Steel Pass and Dedecker Canyon a few years back. The sidewalls were pretty tough.

The Yokohama Geolander (017) AT XD is at the top of my AT tire list when the snow tires come off the LC200 in a couple of months.

I have been running the KO2 10 ply for many years in the summer for off road puncture resistance for the face and sidewall. They have worked well for that but I can no longer support the KO2 because of the out of balance issues and out of round failures. 2 out of a 5 tire rotation failed. The out of round failure was retired to the spare tire with just over 50% remaining so its a good spare just can't be balanced. This type of tire failure happens, so I just can't repeat my own experiences. Most of the time.
 
I installed a set of these last summer, replacing the worn Yokohama G015s that my truck’s previous owner installed. In fact, I had originally gone with another set of G015s but blew out a sidewall on a forest road. The G015 was only a month old and Discount Tire swapped all 4 for something a little beefier.

Good on-road handling, competent in snow and loose rocks, price was reasonable. My only complaint is a rhythmic thrumming that was not there with the G015s, but I can’t rule out a mechanical cause.
 
The Yokohama Geolander (017) AT XD, LT275/70-18, load rang E, 33.2" diameter, 3 ply side walls were installed last week. 19/32" tread depth and the wide spacing on the shoulder lugs have a very aggressive look. I aired up the RCTP of 41psi and just put 900 miles on them at 75 mph. They are noticeably louder than the Ko2's. Medium pitch cyclic sound that makes you keep checking if you put it back in "D" getting back on the freeway. Road surface changes did not change the cyclic harmonics but you could hear the road noise change quietly in the back ground so I'd say the center thread pattern is quiet compared to the McCauley propeller sound without the wind noise in flight. Mud tires with nobs all the way across and big gaps have a much lower pitch cyclic drone.

I was watching the mold pins wear down as I would check them at fuel stops. At 700 miles I reduced each tire by 3 psi and am now seeing contact on the outer 1/2 inch of the tread face. No extra load was on board and not pulling a trailer. The Ko2's wore evenly across at 41 psi. This model of Geolander 017 tires are beasts and probably my last set of "happy to be off road" tires cuz my wife says I'm getting old and I will need some good tires when she buries me in it. I am looking forward to a fun summer following the younger crew around with the local 406Cruisers.com club trail rides and a few on my own.
