Seatbelt plug and third row seat mount covers. I wish the covers were the darker brown, but these still look nicer than nothing. Thanks Solve Function for making cool parts.

Finally got the 97 some new tires and back on the road. I still have some odds and ends on the interior to finish up, waiting on some parts.

Oh, and fixed that dent in the rear quarter too.

Side by side comparison.

97 on 2.5" Dobinsons VT / IMS Shocks / 33.4"x11.5 tires / Stock Wheels Spidertrax Spacers / Stock control arms with Ironman Drop Brackets.
94 on 4" Dobinsons VT / MRR Shocks / 37"x12.5 tires / Icon Wheel with Spidertrax Spacers / Delta 3L control Arms

Both handle really well and offer a smooth ride, the 94 is softer/smoother. Although my 94 is on 37s and has the heavy bumpers front and rear and a drawer system so I'm sure the added weight is smoothing out the ride. Adjustability of the MRR is nice though, so I probably would still do it on a forever build if the cost is in budget.

In the 80s they had the 60 series which was "improved upon" (depending on who you talk to) and renamed the 62. If they did the same in the 90s the 95-97 would have been an FZJ82 right? 😂 Since I had already used FZJ80 for my plate on the 94, the 97 got fzj82 - mainly because its our FZJ80 also, but FZJ80ALSO doesn't fit on the plate.

I love that. I have those same spacers which I bought from Slee last year. I wanna see if a 315/75/16 tire on the stock wheels will have enough clearance with the fender flares if I add those spacers on.

What do you think? Will I have rubbing issues? I have the same exact suspension setup and lift as you (Dobinsons 2.5 front/3.5 rear MRA shocks.

Sounds like you have a mix of what I have. My MRR shocks are on the 4" lifted 94. IMS and 2.5 on the 97. Both awesome suspension.

I ran my 94 with 35x12.5 Maxxis MTs when I had the 2.5" lift installed on it. Which I think would be pretty close to the same as 315/75/r16. I had no rubbing at all. I wanted to do 35s on this 97 but they are heavy and definitely impacted performance. I don't think I will be sizing up until I am ready to regear it.

I rub with 37s and the 4" lift. I have had to trim my flares a bit and will be adjusting bump stops etc as I still rub. My plan for now is to keep the 97 as slightly modified stock. My 94 is going to see the most trail time.
