Well, the last snow of the season has finally melted off, and soon things will turn green. That hum of birds in the yard means only one thing. .. Time to work in the garage!

I have only heard about the wrenching weekends, so I open this discussion with wide eyes and great anticipation.....

Is anyone interested in getting together for a wrenching weekend?

Any requests for help?

I believe that Craig C. hosted last year, and I have only heard good things about his shop .... can we talk you into an annual event?

I will start out.... I will bring the suds (root beer for others)

I need help on axles. Never played with these before. My rear is leaking, and on my front, I want to do a disk brake swap using a toy truck front axle.

I'm in

Count me in. You said the magic words... axles, yeah that's it.

I've got a FJ62 front axle and an extra 78 FJ40 third member sitting in my garage (already been martacked). As you know, my fj40's soon going to be for sale so I won't have a need for it, if you don't already have a toy truck axle.

I still need to change 2 O2 sensors on my tundra and address a rear axle seal, so I'm in for a work day. I'm no cruiser expert, but I'm a :banana::banana: grease monkey and will be glad to help anyone that wants it.

Any word from Chris? If he is unable to host, I have pleanty of concrete to work on, space for a few rigs inside my shop and lots of "normal tools" but am not loaded with many special tools.

Just thinking about May weekends for Wrenching, and I believe there is the Asher farms weekend over memorial day, although I don't know if that is all weekend, or certain days????

How does the first couple weekends in June sound for anyone interested?

Annual? Don't know about annual but 2009 would probably work! I can only fit 2 rigs in the shop at a time. I could fit some under the eave though.
