Anybody have pics or good ideas on mounting/installing a work light on the rear bumper swing out.
Also How did you wire it switches ect......

I like the Kaymar telescoping model, if that gives an idea where Im trying to go.

I tried to search but it seems to be down.
Btw I have the light Its a dual bulb Hella jobber.

thanks, ken

This is what I have going on so far.
Two back up lights and one work light. (note duct tape skills)
I thinking about ditching the telescopeing deal.

Comments................ please. :)

Thanks,

ken

i just have a mount on a tube that sticks up above my tire,, i can spin it around to use it for reverse, in the truck, or around the campsite.

You wouldnt happen to have a pic?
Do you have the switch, inside or out?
Are you using a relay?
Thanks,

ken

the only pic i have now shows the light in its old location and you can see the pole where it is now right above the tire, just have to use your imagination.

i have it on a toggle in the cab, no need for a relay IMOP.

Thanks, btw sweet ride.

I went ahead and finished the carrier and mounted it on that.
I has swivel action so it should be ok.
Now I just need to get to wireing it.
I think Im going to install another aux buss for the rear, using another circut boss from painless. :)

ken why do you hav different plates (3 different states?) on your rig?

Skillet - How are you lighting your plate?.....looks like a 4x4 Labs bumper, nice.

Having lights at a low level is great for most things but having a light near the roof line shining down is invaluable for setting up camp, cooking, etc.. I have a set of lights integrated into the rear bumper and it's ok for the most part; really great for hooking up to the hitch in the dark. However, often times I'll stick my magnetic work light on the roof to illuminate a larger area during camping and working on mine or a friend's vehicle. Hope that made sense!

Yes perfect sense.

I wanted to go with the telescopeing deal for that exact reason.
Im liking the whole light from above deal.
We will see how this set up goes , but I might have to fab something else up.
For now Im stoked to have 220 watts back there.
