how about part number a fj45 lv oil filter element........cannister type? thanks

Call the 800 numuber for wix, they don't make one. I ended up ordering one from the Toyota.

Bump for the old thread. :)

I heard that some of the WIX filter are made by other manufactures if the sales volume is low. hmmmm...

Due to economic considerations based on the sales volume of this part number, it is purchased from an outside vendor instead of being manufactured by WIX. If it is identical to the Fram part number, we would speculate they are buying it from the same source for the same reason. Thank you for your inquiry.

Um, Chris Greeson works for who? And the question that prompted this reply was?? Kinda shy on details that are highly relevant. For instance if this guy works for Ted's Auto Parts and was replying to a filter request for a 1946 John Deere riding mower it would be relevant.

Has anyone else ordered the 51348 or 51515 filter from fleetfilter.com .

Is the 51348 the "short filter"?? Threads are the same 3/4-16, but Gasket outside diameter is 2.734 vs 2.834 for the 51515 and inside diameter is 2.430 vs 2.462 and slightly thicker .226 vs .200.

I like the Wix Filters and I want to try the "short" one.

thanks

has anyone tried the wix 51773, their website says that it is a 2 quart option for the 51515

I was told by Fleet Filter that the 51348 IS the 'short' filter...
