Damn, did not know that. Have Weathertechs and also purchased the mount.

I just lined it up again and you are either going to have to permanently put the Weathertech under the mount or cut it. I think cutting it would then make water drain as the Weathertechs are designed to be a bathtub. I might hold off on install (so I can still return it) and see what more creative people here do ha.

You could try a heat gun to reform the weathertec around the mount. Its a thermoplastic sheet so go slow and heat it up just enough to move it and only in the area you want to reform. Push it down where it should go and let it take a new set.

I notice the mount conflicts with my Weathertech floor mats, anyone have any issues with this? Will the mats go under the mount?

Pics? On the 80Series they work fine. On the 5th gen runners they need to cut a small slit. I need to see how the interaction is.

This was my thought. I’m literally right now hearing about the issue :(

I just texted my neighbor. He said he just used a heat gun and let the mount set the new profile.
I've not installed mine yet but I assumed this would be an easy solution. No biggie.

I just installed the mount. 5 min install and excellent fit! I cut/dremeled the Weathertech mats and it worked out great. Going to order the cargo liner now and throw a some med gear in there. Perfect spot for a couple CAT tourniquets and a flashlight. Note: if you are buying this to store/lock a gun your options are going to be slim. My Shield in a gcode incog eclipse would not fit if I had a lid. Either way, great product and I'll post some picture tomorrow. Thank you @NLXTACY

I had originally bought these in hopes to store my xDS when I wasn't able to carry. But when they arrived I realized they were a lot smaller than I thought they were going to be! If the mounts were any bigger though, it would just get in the way of your feet.

That’s the give/take of the design. I felt it was the best compromise.

I have the weathertechs not seeing that as a big issue. To be completely honest tho, I'm not sure I like how far it all sticks out. I might look for something else that is overhead mounted.

Sit and drive with it first before you do that. I thought the same when I first installed it. Now I love it because it acts like a little foot stool.

I'm sure there is, right now I am thinking a spacer washer for other side and some longer bolts.

This angle shows the interference. I suppose if you weren't going to use the lid you could route the RAM mount inside the extinguisher mount. It is a well made product but not sure if it will work for me.

(Looking at the full size picrture, I am going to go vacuum my car)

To create extra space within the mount, could we hammer on the under seat hump a little. Would like to locate my pistol in a lock case but the current space is too shallow. Just a small 3-4" indent about an inch deep would work I think.

Bad idea?

Got it installed today. It's a quality product, very happy about it.

I went with the passenger side and a Drake quick release system. No real problems with Weathertechs, but for a perfect fit I will want to get the heat gun out and bend it a little. The back of the mat is pushing up on the mount:

With this setup, I can put the seat all the way forward.

Tried switching the bolts from side to side. The inboard won't engage no matter what I do. Is it possible I stripped the receptacle? Should I fix or is three bolts holding the seat enough?

This happened to me, I'm extremely careful don't know how it happened but definitely the receptacle was tearing every bolt I put on there. Tap n die it is..

Any updates on the locking lids and liners? I am wanting to install all at once.

Ditto, would love to know even a rough ETA.
