I actually had this happen to me already this winter. I don't know what I would have done it I was on the road. I attempted to use Iceoff, a heat gun, and some prying with no quick remedy. I pulled into a heated garage and they came loose. Wish I had a better on the road solution.
Yep. When it happened to me de-icer spray did not unjam it. Tried a blow torch but didn't want to melt the plastic knobs. Warming up with a hair dryer solved it but as you say that's not really an option when you don't have access to AC power or a big inverter in the truck.

I do not own one but I have to believe a cordless heat gun, like the M18 one Milwaukee makes, would be the ticket if you are away from AC power.

2723 Springs increased the rear over an inch.
Measuring from the center of wheel to fender.
Front Driver 21.75 Front Passenger 22.5
Rear Driver 22.75 Rear Passenger 22.85

This is unloaded (daily gear only)
Better than the 2722s but considering 2724s.

In a pinch, stop by a starbucks or McD's and ask for a large cup of hot water.

@nakman
I bought a bracket from Gamiviti that attaches to the 3rd row seat latch. Clever idea. I attached my Dometic Go water jug to it. Makes it easy to throw in the truck without having to tie it down.

Picked up a 6lb Worthington Propane tank and stuck it in a donated power tank bracket. Mocked it up on the Slee Ladder today. Starting to look like @Markuson from the back. (that is a good thing in my opinion!) I'm so thankful we have a forum like mud to learn from others.

Nice! They discontinued this great size for a time, but they must have resumed as more and more of these are showing up on Cruisers. Its a perfect size IMO.

I mounted mine to the jerry can basket to bring it closer to the rear. If you decide to add the Slee basket at some point, it tucks nicely there.

You wouldn't have a link or model number of your bracket would you? Did you have to do any welding to attach to the basket?

@Markuson Pic for ref.
I currently just have it mounted to the ladder. This location prevents me from being able to put a third jerry in the basket.
Work in progress.

This is what @Markuson shared with me a few years back. It's what he and I are using for for the Worthington 6lb. tank. Attaches to Slee ladder.

Edit - and I can get 3 Jerry can's in the Slee basket with the above bracket.

The Power Tank stainless mount was backordered forever when I did mine so went with the above and price is good.

Thank you very much! That is extremely helpful. I think I see what is going on now. Appreciate it.

Basket goes on very easily with included bolts/nuts. No mods needed if you use the Slee. To mount the propane to the basket, I drilled extra holes in the basket, which has no ill effect on anything. This also means I can easily release the bottle with or without the hatch open…and can also easily use the jerry can strap provided by Slee.

One hole drilled in the bracket and we are golden. I will be getting some longer bolts than in the pic. Thank you to @Markuson and @prharper for the education.

Anyone else dupe this bracket install, pay close attention to the tailgate clearance as it is tight. It is a perfect solution.

I went with the Northbound Expeditions Tire Bag. (GARB 2.1) This bag seems to be well constructed and has a great deal of storage.

Two cheap headlamps from the dollar store cut off their straps and velcro to the molly panel . $35. well see.

Not to derail, but what is the benefit of a worthington aluminum tank over a flame king steel tank in the 5/6lb size? I think the empty weight difference is only ~2lb? Quite a price difference though.
