Foggy headlight repair. I have some slight sunburn on the factory headlights. At 10 years and 125K this is expected. I have seen some good suggestions on this forum as well as youtube on how to renew the look of the plastic. However, with humility I offer my suggestion on the absolute best way to restore factory headlights.

That is where I will get them! Thanks Eric.

Truck update: Spoiler not much to update on.

The Truck has been running perfect as expected. I did a few cosmetic updates.

I swapped out the sunburned headlights with new Toyota replacements.

I threw in some:
PHILIPS Xenon X-TremeVision Gen2 +150% D4S HID Xenon Two (2x) Bulbs 42402XV2C1
Philips 9005 X-tremeVision Upgrade Headlight Bulb

My Kelvins don't match but I can see down a country road like never before.

The cost is high replacing the entire units but the result is so good.

At 135K miles the driver seat was looking a bit tired of my butt sitting on it.

New Cushion and Cover from Toyota makes the rest of the truck feel old!

I will add that my experience is that interior parts for my 2013 are starting to get harder to order. I could not find a replacement for the back of the seat. I have the part number but it is not currently available in the US. I'm also struggling to find multiple interior trim pieces available to order.

Not that it is needed on this forum, but shout out to @Eric Sarjeant and his team. I just feel lucky to be able to access that level of experience and knowledge from a dealership.

This is exactly what I need to do. How much of a PITA was it to replace the headlights?

Couple of minor things that I have been pleased with..
Installed a dash cam with front and rear cameras.

I looked hard at Blackvue and others but settled on the Viofo A139 Pro with Sony's the new starvis 2 sensor.
Very please with the video quality. Few quirks with the camera but that is to be expected. App works well.
Will post some screenshots soon.

Secondly, I installed ARB cable guide for my fridge. This thing has been in my garage for a year and I just got around to putting it in. Kicking myself for waiting so long. Works a treat.

LCDC 9 = Redemption

I first visited Fort Collins during LCDC6 in 2019. With no experience and few modifications to my truck I joined the group.
I signed up for Kelly Flats for the first day of trails. I showed up, drove to the base of Heart Attack Hill and realized I was out of my comfort zone. I did not attempt it and decided to return to camp. With better armor and more experience, I went back this year knowing I was going to do that trail. In the 5 position I headed up.

It was great and felt like a personal accomplishment. I know from comparing the footage from LCDC6 to my experience that the trail has had some of the obstacles dialed down. I was looking for one spot in particular where @Romer spotted trucks in 2019 only to realize I had already been though it without issues. It was a great day all around.

Miller's Rock. This trail was a last min swap for Storm Mountain. I was a bit anxious about it. However, I was part of an amazing group of drivers. @tincan45 up front, @TheGrrrrr in the back, and @linuxgod helping choose lines.... along with the others spotting along the way. I couldn't have done this trail without their help.

2480 miles completed on this trip. Worked my mpg back above 12.4 as I averaged about 15.5 on the journey (not including trails.)
Got some great bbq in Kansas City at Joe's. Colby Kansas is starting to feel like a second home. And I don't care what people say about Kansas... I think it is beautiful in it's own way...

All around a great trip.

Scuffs and bumps report:
The Budbuilt skids and sliders were great protection and they did get a few battle scars as expected. That is what they are there for after all.

I damaged the trailer electric port as it is low hanging fruit and I didn't bother to tuck up and away as advised.

Mudflap needs reattached.

Exhaust will be fine. lol.

Now... my Tupperware got involved on the way back down Kelly Flats. Mostly on the rear bumper but evidence exists up front as well.

4 years ago I really did grin at how "extra" people's modifications were. The further down the road I go the more I understand the functionality that comes along with the decisions people make. Things to think about.

Great pics and writeup @wiseinvestor! Amazing how green Colorado is this year! I was recently out in Boulder visiting my daughter and it was just beautiful.

Thanks. I don't know if the amount of water they got this year is a good thing or a bad thing, but is was pretty. Fishermen were delegated to the shoreline as the rivers were moving.

Edit: Adjusted for regular drive shaft lubrication.

I am not an expert... but this is my maintenance schedule cheat sheet I use to ballpark when the truck is due for something. It is not comprehensive but I thought I would share. It is based on the maintenance book that came with my 2013. There are two schedules in the book, regular and heavy use. I use the heavy use because it can't hurt. Also, there are items listed here that are not in the book. Again this is not a recommendation, only what I use to help me when making regular service appointments.
