resurrecting this, does anyone know where you can get these, specter off road has them but just wondered if there was anywhere cheaper? anyone know a part no (if they have one!?)

Toyota sells them, I'd have to look at the part number so see what it is...
The clip you are looking for is 90463-10336. $2.59 list price at reputable dealers that don't mark up from list price. 20% discount or so from online Toyota dealers.
Other plastic clips, including 90463-10336:
Note that 90464-00165 has about an 8mm dia hole for the wire and likely plugs into an 8mm hole.
