Hi , my pzj 70 24volt is haveing this issue..... anyone have any idea where too look first .... i dont want too pull stuff appart and end up with no wipers , and 24volt motors arent too comon here...

@ mohawk, Could be a couple of things. Could be the Wiper Motor. It could also be the wiper stalk on the column which is much cheaper than the motor. The stalk is pretty easy to replace.
The actual wiper linkage (underneath the vent between the windscreen / windshield and hood) probably needs some lubrication. While under there, you can easily disconnect the motor from the linkage to see if the motor actually operates/moves while not connected to the linkage.
I would start there.

Is this gray box a voltage reducer.. pzj is 24v. But wiper motor is identical too my 12 volt one in my bj75

Thanks , I checked and cleaned the park switch bits on the motor under the black cover and tried a spare.switch unit on the.column but still no good

On my old patrol when it was 24V (and also once converted to 12V), the return to park was actually done by the intermittent wiper electronics module. The wiper had contacts (think limit switch) that provided the intermittent module information that park position was reached and that would then remove power. Not sure how the older cruisers did it, but if it's the same scheme, the problem could have nothing to do with the wiper motor.
There was a component failure on mine and it wouldn't return to park. Repaired it and was all good again. This a couple of decades ago
Hopefully someone can chime in with specific knowledge on your cruiser.

I can't speak to the voltage reducer. Just only that, I did replace the "stalk" once when it went bad. After that, I still was not impressed with the power of the wiper motor. So I bought another brand new one, and the new one was just as weak out of the box as the old one. This issue is one of my biggest complaints about the vehicle. LOW is Nothing. MED is SLOW, and HI is acceptable in drizzle. Thank God for RainX.
I wonder.... where do the wipers stop? do they always stop a little short? are your wipers loose and you could just move them by hand, from where they stop?... that would tell you if it is the linkage or not

All fixed... I just needed too clean up the contacts in the park mechanism abit better than my first go.... Heres a pic of another one much the same if you don't know what talking about
