When I run my wipers on delay there is a whining sound. Sounds like motor bearings that are going out.

I figured it was my wiper motor, but after after doing some research I realized the motor is on the passenger side, and the sound is coming from drivers side under dash.

I've attached a picture of what I think is making the noise. Can someone help me identify?

I think I found my answer. Wiper relay grinding?

Another thread said it can be popped off and oiled... WD40?

Watching this thread... I have the same problem. Like nails on a chalk board.

Mine is not making any noise currently, but I'm going to lube mine as a preventive measure. After all, it's been 32 years since it was installed, and a little lube can go a long ways, but 32 years...!
