Bringing this old thread back up to the top, because I'm wondering if this thermal fuse is something we all have. The video showed a thermal fuse which consists of a simple copper fuse which simply gets dirty. I'm having a hard time believing that this thing is somehow opening and closing up the circuit but obviously that's what's happening in this video.
