Will this work for Techstream? (1 Viewer)

I was wondering I currently have this cable which I recieved with a Dimsport tuning device. I was wondering with This adapter from the DB25pin to USB would i be able to access techstream? or is there specific firmware or hardware embeded into those 50$ cables that allow the use of techstream?

I can also verify the cable did at least have a stable connection when i used it with the tuning device, also it does read to be toyota/lotus specific so would this cable have whats already necessary? I am looking to access techstream for cheap for simple configurations and diagnostics.

If it interfaced before, I don't see why not.
Also if you have techstream, be careful updating it. Everything is switching over to GTS+. I "think" it will be phased out by the end of the year.
