Will a M101 fit in the back of a full size P/U?

It's heavy....hope you are buff to pick that thing up and put it in the bed with no wheels.
With a forklift it should not be a problem. I would flip it upside down though,
Might even consider pulling the axle off. I think the upper is smaller than a sheet of plywood, so it should fit between the wheel wells. But the length with the tow bar will not allow the tailgate of the truck to close. But no biggie just a red flag and your good to go..

Actually I would think, flipped upside down, 2 guys per side and one more on the tounge you could lift it in no problem. Just make sure your buddys are not wimps eh?

I think I am going to back my buggy on the trailer as far forward as I can and then use the winch to stand it up, tongue high on the rear of the trailer.
I saw it weighed 750#, but I figured that was with 3 tires and rims. Figured once they were off we could flip it and lift it.
I think the winch on the buggy will be the way to go.

The rear of the 101 isn't flat like a 416. It has those handles back there. They are pretty study looking but I wouldnt want to risk dicking them up by standing the whole thing up on them. I was planning on using a couple of 6x4's (4x4 with 2x4 nailed to it) to stand mine up to rehab the belly. Ill measure tomorrow AM and Ill let you know how deep they are so you know how much dunnage you will need.

Ya know. That is not a bad idea. Back the Chevy in to the ditch and roll the trailer into it.
For standing it on its tail it looks like you need about 4.5 inches to clear the handles by about 30" long

I just put one in the back of a 03 chevy with the 6 foot bed tonight .
It fits fine
If you use the 2 3X4 wood pieces that they were shipped with as a skid they sit level on the springs and keep the hubs off the bed .

I was in the area with my buggy on the trailer and don't have a receiver hitch in the back of my trailer to tow it tandem.
I ended up backing the buggy all the way to the front of the trailer and then pulled the tongue off the trailer.
I stuck the spare in the rear and stood it up and then winched the trailer up the ramps to the front of my buggy.
It all fit snugly on my 16' trailer for the 400 mile run from Dallas to my house.
Makes perfect sense, I was just wondering. That is one desirable trailer at that point!
