Will 15 inch rim fit on FZJ 80?

The rims hit the rear calipers by about an 1/8" inch. I can bolt it down but it won't turn so I'm going to get a pair of spacers. I thought about grinding the calipers but where the rim hits on the caliper didn't seem safe to grind down. I'm hoping to have the spacers by the end of the week and the wheels cleaned up and painted by the end of the following week.

i have two sets of tires and wheels, 15" rims and 16" i swapped axles a good while back(diff locked. i think the best spacer to do to clear the calipers is to get a 2 front hubs from a scrap yard and take it to a machine shop put it on a lathe, and take the front extruding part out while retaining everything else u can bolt it on and u will have the best and strongest spacer, OEM spec with factory bolts, cost wont be much either just the machine shop cutting it out.

Do you know the width and backspacing/offset of the wheel?

I'm not sure of the width or backspacing I couldn't find it stamped on the wheel. I can measure them tomorrow and let you know. Is backspacing measured off the front or rear of the wheel?

Measured the wheels and they are 15x8 with a 3 1/4" backspace. If they were 2 3/4" backspace they wouldn't hit the caliper and caliper bracket. I'm tempted to see how much they still hit, if at all, if I got a pair for $25 1/4" spacers.
