0900 is pretty early, but I should be able to make it down from flag by then, it is down hill so I will have gravity on my side, wuooo hooo, might feel as if I have enough power, yea right!!!!!!!!

Hey, who wants to come down and help me get my rig ready tomorrow evening? :D
Or better yet, who has a garage and compressor that I can borrow? :D
. o O ( I'd hate to have to take the Corolla to this event. )

What time would the trails be done on Saturday?
[/quote]

I kinda figure meeting at 0900, leaving about 0930 or so and doing Broken Arrow before it gets too hot for us highlanders ;), then see where it goes to get the other trails done. We'll have plenty of options.

BMT...since you're in tune with the trip leader on this little jaunt, any ideas?

Broken Arrow, Solders Pass, Schebly Hill Rd, Pipeline, and Greasy spoon... many others are just fire roads. Never been on the spoon but I hear it can be hairy climb out, most of the trails are loaded with hummer, pink and red rock jeep tours, and the assorted tourista.

Early times are much better due to the tourist season.

so, help me understand...

Date: Saturday, 5/15

AzLCA meeting time: 9 AM
AzLCA meeting place: I17 rest stop 2 miles south of 179 Sedona exit
IH8MUD meeting time: 9 AM
IH8MUD meeting place: Chevron station, West side of 179 in Village of Oak Creek

Run: Broken Arrow, maybe a few other trails...

That evening, sunset from Schnebly Hill?

And what about Saturday camping with DD bring'n a slew of food?? Will the camping be at the sunset spot? Up high in the forest? Or lower & nearer to Sedona??

Just trying to figure it out. If all goes well, it look's like we'll be joing ya.

Accasbel, you can camp up at the sunset spot or anywhere up there. Camping is allowed anywhere up there.
My G-friend and I will be camping right near the trail head in the back of my Tacoma for easy stumbling into. I will be up at the sunset spot with my FJ to put up a few signs and get things started around 5 PM. ( Sunset is approx. 7pm)
My cruiser is still lacking the lower gear T-case ( Orion) so I may not be wheeling but will meet up at the Chevron to meet everyone and check out the rigs. I will be bring a BBQ , grillables, and a BIG cooler full of beverages for sunset. Oh yeah and Music! Any requests for favorite tunes?

The stars will be amazing that night.

Can I get an appox. head count ?? throw me a number :)

I have at least 6 in my party, I think, some coming from vegas, and the rest from flagstaff, hope you are going to bring some good bee :beer:r like hiny out of the little keg can, ohhhh delish

Things are looking grim for us.
60 is still a lawn ornament. No one seems to have the correct bolts for the
rear pinion companion flange. :-\ Anyone got a source locally? I plan to
try Copper State Nut & Bolt and the guy at Peoria/19th Ave. after
graduation Friday. If they don't have em, any ideas? Or anyone know what
grade and dimensions they are so I can just get them from Ace?
And my motor mount is still sitting (paid for) at Bell Rd. Toyota.
No way to get there, and no time to go.
If I can manage to get this all sorted out, I'll see you on the Red Rocks.
If I cannot, I'm going to buy another Jeep. :D

a keg, oh yea, you R the man, look forward to this trip, will be camping 4 wheelin, with cruisers and not heeps, oh yea life is goooood!!!!!!!!1

oh, forgot, there will be the pink jeeps, oh well
