Who has deleted EGR on 1FZFE?

@Toyo Boyo I'm going to go for the whole thing except for the block off plate near the intake. Unless removing the starter gets me better access. If not, I'm going to bolt it up like you did. Idk if I have a plug that will thread it but worse case ill use some coins and JB weld.

Ok so what's everyone doing with the fuel pressure regulator after deleting the VSV? I've seen it routed up to the manifold, but that seems like it would be giving constant vacuum. As I understand it that is just designed to increase fuel during startups?

I wouldn't have thought that needed to be messed with? On my 1995, it goes from FPR->little metal tube->side 1 of a VSV, which also has the atmospheric input-> side 2 of VSV-> another metal tube -> vacuum port on top of manifold. Doesn't involve the EGR VSV at all.
Judging from the layout, I'd say you're right about the cold startup use, it just lets the FPR equalize to amospheric for maximum pressure.

But then again, mine's a late 95 model even if they are both 1FZ-FEs.

You have to connect FPR vacuum hose to throttle body before throttle plate itself.

Next generation of 1fz (coils) doesn't have any vsv for FPR and EVAP

@Vasiliy that's interesting to know. It shows that It's still running through the VSV, however? I may take the VSV from under the intake and put it more inline like the coil version.

Negative, it doesn't have vsv, maybe photo was not enough clean.
That sensor with connector on intake plenum is 89421-20190 The manifold absolute pressure sensor (MAP sensor) it have vac hose that going to Gas filter. FPR and MAP vacuum hoses are holds with a clamp, so it looks like FPR still going to vsv, but is not.
