Such a white FJ pickup like the one in the picture,
as a barn find ....original .... as they used to use it ...
would surely be the most valuable LC pickup on the market.
Even if the prices for old vehicles in general will continue to go south

.....
...... in the next few years.

Best for sellers would be if stagnate a little below current prices.

Hope that such a vehicle would not fall into the wrong hands..
....only mechanically reconditioned to drive it... all what is necessary to drive and enjoy.
Authentic vintage driving & be driven, driven, driven.... *
All said....... Cheers. ;)
*.....12 months a year ..that is enough.. every month at least 1x.
Best what you can do for an old vehicle. :)

Bloomberg yesterday:
"....United States * according to the Bloomberg recession prediction model, an economic downturn is now unavoidable."
* Not only in the USA..... all around the Globe.
By the way some time ago in 2018 I wrote on Mud:

Prices for vintage cars and trucks are too high, would not buy now.
Wrote too: We will get a recession in 2020... hope a mild.
Nobody could have foreseen this virus story.

An"extra drive" for a recession.

Forgotten : Private and public debt* in all countries is the next time bomb that will explode ....

A quick hop back - you could read this today.
".... we can think of public debt around the world as a global pandemic.
It is spreading at a rapid pace, has overcome national and systemic boundaries and has now infected all industrialized countries.
The most important difference to the corona pandemic is this: no one is fighting national debt with the same passion.
On the contrary: with ever new loans, states are trying to immunize themselves against the collapse of their economies. So the crisis is fought by preparing the next bigger one."

Same with the private debt. *
Again briefly, so that you can't say you didn't know about anything.

*Remember, you’re the boss of your own budget!
Oh, just seen......... you wrote it down on your bath mirror in RED what i wrote yesterday.. could have saved my today`s text;).........

In the article above the author used Warren `s words too. :)
Translated in German language.
".....Bei Ebbe sieht man, wer ohne Badehose im Wasser steht», pflegt der amerikanische Grossinvestor Warren Buffett zu sagen.
Im angeblich so «reichen Deutschland» sieht man nun viel Nacktheit......"

What we have too :
The highest electricity prices and tax rates .
Taxes on fuel about 85%
.... price at the petrol station you have to pay for 1 liter.
....and on a tax they put more taxes on it......what we have is a Green-Red Socialism.
The Greens are like a melon outside green inside red.

Happy Switzerland......more liberal, more prosperity..... in all social classes & less public and private debt.

The end.

The story behind Dali`s Datsun advertise. #55
d4c3aad096dfdeea1bb12b0b809e3e75.jpg

"So it happened that Dalí "decorated" a painting from his motif series of melting clocks with a 1972 Datsun 610 station wagon.
This happened at a time when the artist's extravagant lifestyle was threatening to get out of hand.
Dalí is said to have used up to 500,000 dollars of his fortune per month at times and, under a corresponding pressure of suffering,
succumbed to the Japanese car manufacturer's advertising offer. "

Spending less money than you earn.... earning more money than you spend.... that is the "little "secret! ;)
