I'm taking her in to BCC tomorrow for a once-over, I have a feeling that she may not be road worthy in time. I should have left her stock, these aftermarket parts always end up needing replacing too often!

Looking fairly positive for Friday. Likely just camp up the FSR near the trailhead and meet up with you guys Saturday morning. taking the 40 again

Here's a screenshot of the site along the river past the Copper Creek rec site. Apparently there's a lot of room there.

And this is a potential overflow, further west on Hwy3 at Eastgate

Not sure whether there's cell coverage at Copper Creek, apparently Eastgate does.
My cell sixzerofour.eightfoureight.fivesixsevenoh

Just a fair warning for the bottom photo, it is usually busy, early ... it's a prime spot for quadders and they usually have the access to the river blocked off as it's a narrow area before the gravel

aaaaaand it looks like I'm sitting this one out :( too many issues that need addressing before I do a run :(

Sorry to hear that, and thanks for the heads up on the alternate site. Also, thanks for getting the ball rolling on this trip, next time!

Too bad, we'll swat a mosquito or two for you! Next time.

Fun trip. thanks for organizing it. 12 assorted toyotas spanning about 50 years in production. clear skies. still quite wet in the high elevations. maybe a mosquito or two. here are a few highlights. much better cameras and photographers in the group so others can share.

What a great trip! Super relaxed group and lots of time for photos and video. Thanks to all that came along. Let's do it again!

So how bad were the mosquitos? Looks like a good time.

Well, depends on how much the mosquitos liked the others around you! 😆
The wild flowers were amazing though!
