I've been trying to figure out what post is what on my headlight switch. It seems to be beyond my brain's ability. I understand (for the most part) what is supposed to happen according to the schematics. However, I can't seem to figure out which terminal is which. Can you help me?

This is the first time I've tried posting a picture. I don't know if it will work. Sorry if it doesn't.

You posted a pdf file which we have to download first, open it, etc.
Please post a jpg file.
@Coolerman will chime in. He's the electric guru here.

I took the liberty of doing what Rudi suggested:

I think there's a typo since both the 1 click and 2 click columns have 1-2 showing both continuity and nothing.

Here is my second try. I've been trying to figure out what post is what on my headlight switch. It seems to be beyond my brain's ability. I tried to post this yesterday but I guess it didn't work. This should be it.

It's just an aftermarket switch, the same kind that was on it when I bought it. But it only has 4 terminals which is why I'm confused because the schematics I have show 5 and 2 different power sources, one from taillight fuse and the other from headlight fuse.
My vehicle is a 78 fj40, non-USA/Canada model, a strip down model of sorts.

Mine was so melted and burned up that I had to start over. I'm the guy who lives in Ecuador. I bought all my wire from you. So I'm trying to mimic what I had here which was a total cluster of garbage. But there is insufficient complete evidence of what it should have been because of cutting and splicing into other wires, many wires clipped at the connectors, burnt wires and connectors still in it. It's atrocious. I'm using your personal info and two other schematics. But I'm stuck at this headlight thing.

Oh yesh! Now I remember!

OK well here is what you need to do if you have the OEM head light switch wiring and are using the OEM dimmer switch in the column
Connect the 12ga red wire to terminal #1 This is power into the headlight switch.
Connect the RW wire (from the dimmer switch ) to terminal #2 This will send power to the dimmer switch when head light switch is in position #2. The dimmer switch then sends power out to the actual head lights depending on which position it is in.
Connect the Green wire to terminal #4. This will power the park lights in both head light switch positions.

You will lose the separation of the park lights being on their own fuse with this switch. I would recommend finding the correct switch so that it is plug and play!

Thank you very much. I'll leave a slot open and run the extra wire in case I do find an OEM type. Meanwhile, I have one more wire issue that I will formulate the question for along with a couple pics and post in the future.
