Which is better, BT35-TOY or the Vais for Bluetooth media streaming with iPhone?

Nice! Thanks. Called the store that sells the audiovox, and they said it wouldn't work in my '06 LC. Not sure what to think.
Well, I bought this one and it did. Can't say much more beyond that. I know you're not in Canada, but I just noticed that it's on for about $45 less than what i paid. shoot.

would you guys mind posting pics of the interfaces? Ty!

Im running the Vais. I did a writeup on the install with lots of pictures. Its pretty easy. I have no experience with the other product. I highly recommend the VAIS. The phone can be synced up for music and incoming calls overide the music and you can accept the call over the car speakers/Bluetooth. Ill be happy to answer any other questions about it you may have.

Also originally I was set on having a hardwired solution using USB or aux cable for better sound but due to a lack of options I gave Bluetooth a shot. I was impressed with the quality of sound and now consider it on par or a negligible difference with hardwire.

How did you get the disclaimer screen to auto bypass after five seconds?

I mean what the USB port looks like that you added in place of the 12V. I looked this unit up, looks like it's what I'm looking for.
LCVol, what did you end up going with? satisfied with the choice?

thx,

Haven't read of others unhappy with the product, but I just removed the Vais and am returning it. For the price it's a relatively dumb box. Examples: the MD controls on screen are pretty useless so I need to control on the phone anyway, it auto-plays at the top on my music library every time it's switched to, and I don't need it for phone integration since it's built into the LX already. The product works, but not worth the price for me.

I'm content using a $7 tape deck adapter in my '05 LX.

I use the Vias and really like it. I did try using it with my work iphone and it kind of sucked. I guess since iphones are so locked down, the text doesn't work when streaming from an app other than the music one. It just keeps trying to show text from the music app and fails so it constantly shows that its switching disks. It still sounds great though, but you lose all wheel/screen controls and have the top bar showing it switching disks permanently.

On my Nexus phone though, it works perfectly with all streaming apps. I have full control with the wheel and screen and text shows up. I think my only complaint is that the text doesn't scroll so if you have a long song/artist name, it will only show the first 8 or so characters.
