Recently became the owner of a 72 FJ40 and do not know where to start. I am a Willys Jeep Dude and there is a great deal more parts under this hood. The FJ's original owner must have had stock in gasket sealer due to the large quantity I see all over the motor. I tried to start it but it has a makor fuel leak from the bottom front of the carb. I need the assistance of anyone that would not mind my constant questions. My plan is to take some pictures and post them so folks can direct me on identification. Thanks for everyons assistance and this may be the turning point from the Willys line.

Sorry but this is the 70 series forum. But welcome to landcruisers and MUD

The best carb is the AISAN carb and if its not right ,the best thing is to have them rebult by someone who knows what they are doing.
The weber and holley are a pita unless you have a good knowledge of carbs

go back to your willys and install a diesel... they kick a cruisers ass...

welcome to Mud
