Alright here we go.

Food was good. Steak was really good. Bread pudding was great.

Went with the filet topped with crab. Medium rare and was cooked perfectly. The sauce was really good too. It's top 10 steaks for sure, maybe creeping into the top 5. Can't crack the top 3 tho...

That bread pudding tho, #2 in line only behind the commanders palace version that's served in a big silver mug. It was legit.

I agree that Shapley's is the best steak I've ever had. To me, nothing else is even a steak.

Brennan's in NOLA, Pappas Bros in Dallas, Warehouse 1 in Monroe.

Only miss in the Pappa's franchise is Pappa's BBQ where Lone Star meets.

Absolute garbage.

Like I said, allowed a local fav right? Grew up on the peppercorn filet from warehouse. Still a favorite although it's recently gone way down.

Every time I go into Pappas bros I expect to be let down just because they are due an off day. Have never disappointed tho.

Go to Rollin' In the Dough on ShreveIsland sometime. Everything there is awesome.

Superior steakhouse is where I was talking about. We try to get over there once a month or so. They would be in my top three but every now and then they roll out a dud.

Have had several people tell me to try village grill. Will give that a shot.

From what I understand Nick is name only on this deal.

So you know Craig? He and Paul were classmates/teammates at Prep and have been friends since. That is one large dude at 6' 8" ~350 lbs. He sure can cook! He made a tur-duc-ken for Thanksgiving a few years ago that got a standing ovation!
