Same guy that has Roca's. All the locals are going nuts about it.
Since Neon Pig was out the door busy at 12:15 I took off for my next appt in Oxford (hungry)
After much hand wringing I decided to hit Embers for a burger.
This is the new Biscuit/BBQ/Burger place from the Newks guys.
The burger is fantastic. Real hand made patty. Good stuff.
No inside seating. Walk up. Order. Get food. Eat outside or in car.
The new one they are building west of town has inside seating.
Cheap. Fast. Good. $10 combo

Green Ghost Tacos on County Line. Super nice owner and really good food. It seemed more authentic. You need to hit it up @wngrog. He said it was their soft opening so didn't have the credit card working yet.
Nope. It is on ridgeland side between Ticos and mall. Small, only a few tables.
@wngrog Whatcha got for Columbia, SC? gonna be there 2 weeks starting Sunday.

Go through 7 through the Gulch....hang a left towards town and down on left about a mile or so.
This place had a great burger.
Hand formed patty and toasted bun....not greasy like King Kone.
Wife and I eat there for lunch.....Asian owned so I am going to try Grilled Chicken w Fried Rice next time.
Big Cheese burger and fries and drink like $7...which I think is good pricing.

We didn't get as far north as Duck, but in Nags Head/Kill Devil Hills: Red Drum Tap House and Mama Kwan's Tiki Bar/Grill
