Had shots and Tacos with the African last Saturday at Taqueria, Definitely have to hit that place again next time we are in town. Heck, I just discovered that we have one in Nashville definitely gonna have to hit that up soon and compare.

Old meets new...

47 years ago my father-in-law brought back two of these Hibachi Pots from his tour of duty in the Philippines. Back before Green Eggs had been laid. After Bomar treated us to that awesome brisket a few weeks ago I had to get me one of these PartyQ controllers for our old "egg". First brisket is on today. I'll let you know how it turns out

Well, the taste was great but I have some learning to do. I think I started with too much fire and I struggled to keep the temp below 240. As a result it was a bit overcooked (crumbles when I try to slice it) and the bottom crust is too hard. Think I should have cooked it fat side down. But, overall, it was an awesome meal

Sim building is on the road listed as Satellite Loop. It houses our whole Global Operations HQ and All of flight training.

I finally beat Grogan to a restaurant on his list! 10 South in Vicksburg was legit! We had a table full of people and everybody was impressed. Very cool spot looking over the MS river. They opened the roof while we were there and that was cool! Worth a drive for sure! I'll be back!
