Where do Valley Drains Drain

Where do the engine valley drains drains to?

My starter had a malfunction:

And a bunch of the tiny ball bearings went down them.

Is this an issue? Is there a way to fish them out?

There's and inspection plate, on bottom of bellhousing. It's held on with one bolt. Pull it off. Some of the balls, may be there. Some likely hung up higher.

I pulled it off and nothing there.
I was thinking of having a short drive with the cover off and hope they work their way down and out.
