You can simply do a search on altimeter, rear ac, grab bar:grinpimp:, 2nd-row reclining hinges:grinpimp:, rear ladder:grinpimp:, clear lenses:grinpimp:, Toyota OEM fog lights:grinpimp:, OEM window visors:grinpimp:, rear visor:grinpimp:, sunroof visor:grinpimp, etc...

Unlike the rear steps on this thread you can have the above items from a fellow Mudder.

My point exactly. How would I do a search for such specific cool things if I don't know they exist. Forgive my ignorance I've only had my LX450 for about a month.

I can't believe there isn't a topic page with all the other fj80 topics in that 1st headline. Like a "non-USA factory options" listing all the things with part #'s and pics.
Just a sugestion.... I'd do it but I only know of the altimeter, snorkle, and now cargo ladder steps. There has to be more.

This just in... My interpreter is back from his days off. His cousin the parts guy can get anything I/we want. I am just not sure how much stuff to order. These would be used parts. Roof steps and hardware,Sub tanks, dual filler necks, fuel transfer ecu, overhead console, wiring, switches, factory accesories ect. He said he could get me as many 50 subtanks I guess his connections go as far south as the UAE. His price depends on quantity of course. I dont want to get all the cool stuff and not share. I am thinking of just ordering a small number of parts first and see how that goes. What other parts should I try to get??? Who is the best member here to get advice from?? (prices, shipping ect) Or do I just order for myself?? And what is with all the shiny gold grills and trim I am seeing on the new cruisers over here??? They look like The Taj Mahal.

How hard would it be to ship back to the States? Even possible?

Hood ornament?? LOL They all have them over here, most that I see are chrome. I am thinking I should try to have a template made for roof step placement. I will be talking to customs at the post office next day I dont have a mission. There is a long ''do not mail'' list but I dont see car parts on it. Mostly weapons and ammo and stuff.

Just talked to post office. I can mail any parts except sub tank. That I will have to talk to Fed-Ex or DHL. They just happen to be on the base I am moving to. I am going to put my order in for one of everything and post pics when I get them. If things go well I will start a thread under parts. I will try to get accurate template made for roof steps. What other cruiser parts should I ask for???

skillet ...I have seen black sombrero on pickups..I will ask

Assuming the price doesn't get stupid, I'd be in for middle and top steps (and related internal hardware and bolts and template) for both sides for an FJ80/FZJ80. Used hardware in decent shape is fine for my application.

Be sure to post a link to your parts thread back in this thread once you get it going.

Thank you!

Cool. Did you order the mounting hardware as well?

I would be curious in finding out how these get supported so will wait for your review.

Nice job.

It'd be like ladder pin-striping! I guess if you want access to either side of your roof, it could be good. :meh:

Two of the three steps arrived last week. The third is in transit. I'm was waiting until I had all three in hand to post an update.

How about an update or pics of these? I did I miss it in another thread?

How does gotmud do this? He should use his magic mojo to load all the sweet 80 series parts like complete diesel motors:hillbilly:

I'd like to see the backside mounting as well.
