I've yanked my radiator and need a new one. OEM is $830 plus tax here in Canada, Beno is closed for business for another month so I will just get a KOYO.

Question to those that bought a Koyo. Where did you get yours from? Amazon or some other place? I am in Canada but will buy from US and ship to my PO box.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Looking good. They have Aisin fan clutch and water pump in stock too. One stop shop, I like it.

just got my Koyo in from go-parts.com came in bent, I'm hoping it doesn't leak. I don't have enough time to send it back.

Damn that sucks man.

No Koyo listed at Autoplicity right now.

Bent radiator makes me nervous trying go-parts. Already crossed Carid off my list.

Amazon Prime, and I got an Aisin water pump with the order. And they have silicone fan clutch oil and you can upgrade your fan clutch at the same time.

Ordered from Autoplicity. I checked again and they had 1 Koyo rad in stock. Radiator + Fan clutch + water pump + shipping was less than what I could buy just a rad for in these parts. Let's see how the shipping goes.

Thanks for the suggestion!

I used hoo-ha as well. They sent my a TYC the first time. But customer service was great and sent me a KOYO the second time.

FYI use the Koyo C1917 three row copper unit. You will be happy. Amazon or Autoplicity.

Thanks. I ordered the a1918. I just like aluminum radiators better. Autoplicity shipped same day.

Either will work. Good luck. Don't forget new hoses and clamps;).

Careful ordering Koyo radiators on the internet. If you have any issues, they'll want to make sure it comes from an authorized retailer, and rightfully so.

I had issues with mine leaking about 2 months after I bought it. Koyo (corporate) stepped up to the plate when the authorized retailer went unresponsive.

In went an OEM radiator because I bought it locally and the first one lasted 20 years without issue.

Good to know. Autoplicity seems to have a good warranty system. OEM radiator would have cost me over $900 locally. Koyo cost me less than $240 and I pick it up tomorrow. If Koyo doesn't last I will go back to OEM, but for the price I have to give Koyo a try, especially with so many people having great experiences with Koyo.

Absolutely understandable. That kind of price different makes a lot of case for the Koyo. For the record, it cooled exactly the same as the OEM that went in (same temps) and I still think it's a great radiator. Mine was a fluke that it leaked everywhere. If it were a local swap? I'd still be running it.

Since you're able to pick it up locally, that's a huge help. My sellers were down probably 1500 miles away and it led to downtime of vehicle ~4 weeks) while resolved.

For those reading? Be ware of buying from anyone else than an authorized retailer. Koyo noted lots of fraudulent / fake radiators being sold as a Koyo. Just like watches and the like, be careful when buying.

You have to beware of even those that claim or are authorized Koyo dealers as well. CARid has Koyo Authoried dealer status according to the CARid website, yet they are very infamous for giving you a TYC when you select a Koyo Rad.

Ordered one from FRsport.com a couple months ago. Good price and fast shipping.

STAY AWAY FROM CARid !!! They are bait and switch artists. TYC is all they ever ship, even on exchanges.

Big thumbs up to Autoplicity. Radiator arrived in 3 days. Undamaged except for 4 slightly bent fins. It actually IS a Koyo Rad.

I also got the Aisin waterpump and fan clutch from them.

All new hoses, heater valve, thermostat as well. Should be good to go for the Summer heat.

Modding the fan clutch in the morning and adding 15k cst fluid.
