Was planning on it but I just found my fornt knuckles leaking, Overhauled the axles just less than 2 yrs ago,I found it trying to chase down another problem
Mine are weeping also and the pinion is a little loose in there, I got a knuckle rebuild kit and a dif rebuild kit also...need OJT on this...anybody??
The knuckles on an 80 take moly grease, mine is full time AWD. The inner axle seal is leaking and mixing with the grease. I can check how bad the mix is by putting a dip stick into the filler hole this afternoon. I found it Sunday late, after camping and blackpowder shoot this past weekend, Peggy's b'day yesterday. I am concerned about the gear oil washing out the lower trunnion bearing. I also have a braking issue, that's how I found the knuckle.

I'm in plus 5 people a pop-up and a minivan. We might be looking for some extra space when we hit the trail-- Pretty sure the minvan won't cut it
Eric, what time you think you'll be in woodland park? Give me a call or PM me your number and let me know if you want to caravan up there. I work today and won't be able to check my e-mail until later. I will have an extra seat in the red truck, but I absolutely have to be off the trail by 2 P.M. to head back to Divide.

I am leaving a little earlier than planned. I really don't think anyone will have a problem finding the camp.
We camp in the Browns creek area just south of Buena Vista off of 285. Take 285 South out of Buena Vista until you go under a large pipeline over the road. If you go under two pipelines, or see a gas station on the right, you've gone too far. Take a right after the first pipeline on CR270, stay straight on that until it turns into CR272 and runs into Browns creek. Once you get into the camp area, take the first left, I will most likely be along the road somewhere unless it's full and then I will venture further back. Hope to see you there.

Anyone else heading out tomorrow? Dustin and I will be leaving the western at 7:00
Sounds like we might have had two groups--Luke, Justin & my herd had a good evening and hit the trail to Mount Antero in the morning. Some of the switchbacks are kinda "exciting" but a beautiful trip.
