I am basing this on the OEM rim so I was looking for a 17x8.5. My problem is that all of the idiot-proof websites go off OEM sizing, which is only 18" and up. So I'm finding it super hard to find rims that I know will fit. I've got a few pinned that I think will work - SOTA, American Racing, and Method are 3rd party Co's that appear to make a 17x8.5 with 5x150 and a fairly large offset (18 to 25). But I have yet to find anything over +25.

The 5x150 with 110mm bolt pattern is also used on 1998-2007 LCs, 2008+ Sequoia and LX570, and 2007+ Tundra. You might look for anything compatible with those models and years, particularly the Tundra.

The rock warriors rings save valve stems.

Yep. Pretty sure my rings saved at least one stem last year as a massive rock gouge hit right where the stem was (but safely behind the ring). Worth leaving on.

I decided not to go with 17 inch Rock Warriors due to high cost, and corrosion issues between the trim ring and wheel. Plus the rings are gravel/ mud catchers.... who the heck wants to deal with that? Unless you stay on pavement.... I think separate rings are pure stupid for most applications.

That's the second time I've read that about those. Do they really serve NO purpose?

I love the looks and light weight, and I was going to buy those until I found out how horribly limited the supply is. “We are taking orders for a September shipment” I was told in July..... I decided to go with reman 18 inch factory 2013 LC 200 wheels due to VERY low cost and the ability to find a replacement for a damaged one on very short notice. I bought four beautifully refinished wheels for $700 shipped, with _lifetime_ cosmetic and structural warranty.

I have a set of rock warriors with the trim rings already removed for you! posted in the classifieds if interested!

The ring saved this valve stem. I have two other wheels like this.

The rock warriors rings save valve stems.

FWIW on the RWs this seems to be a big deal, since the valve stem would poke out a bit without them. On my Icons which have 1" less offset, I noticed the valve stem sits inward. The Icons also have a fake beadlock ring that's part of the wheel, so there's some extra protection, though I don't think it would be necessary in most cases.

@John E Davies FWIW The RW ring serves a purpose, valve stem protector and wheel rash guard. The rings are replaceable for this reason and easy to source online. Cleaning out the junk just part of a good trip. No different than a front or rear bumper. I've never had gravel get caught up in that space so I'd say that's a wild speculation, No harm I can see the logic.

I have the Rock warrior's (love them) but man are they hard to find these days. Too expensive usually on Ebay, and Craigslist finds sell within a day. Xoverland is rocking the Icon Six Speed wheels and i like them

This was a hugely informative thread so thanks to all who chimed in. I bought a set of Icon Six Speed wheels. I'll post pics when they get installed.

Thanks again for the knowledge!!

Icon Six Speed with 34x10.5x17 KO2 tires, Icon stage 5 with OME regular duty lifted rear springs. Tiny bit of rubbing at full turn that will be easily fixed with minor fender trimming.

Thanks to all who helped guide me here! Looking forward to getting messy.

Ps. Updated my photo with a shot of me at a secret spot deep below the border - the whole reason for the truck. I could tell you where it is, but then I'd have to kill you.

Yeah those Icons look nice. I have found 3 sets of RW's. One in San Diego, one set in Fort Collins of 5 with Ko2's that is actually a good deal. Those are in the classifieds here. I tried to get them but shipping size and weight became a hassle for the seller. The guy in San Diego wasn't interested in shipping (it was a craigslist find) and the 3rd set I found on craigslist didn't want to hassle with shipping either. I guess most people don't have any problem selling locally. I need 6 wheels eventually. Sucks to buy 18 inch tires when you know you will most likely change to 17's when able to snag some.

Are those gunmetal or titanium?

They look like gunmetal to me. I have the same wheels.
