Thinking we may get an earlier start on Saturday than planned, just in case we only make a day trip out of it. What time do you want to meet at the trail head?

Well Blazefighter and I are planning going down Friday night unless something changes. I am setting up a bigger camp so I won't be camping at the lake. There may be another coming from the fj forums so a time from the western would be great if he decides to go. I know you said earlier if it may only be a day trip so you decide as I will already be there unless something drastic happens.
We will plan on leaving the Springs at 8 and making the trail head around 10. Weather forecast will dictate whether we camp or not. We will camp at the lake though if we do stay the night.
As usual, I'll be stopping at Rudy's on my way out. We can meet there unless your dead set on Western in WP. That is if you don't leave on Friday.

Yes we are packing up right now. Do you know of a place to camp up there? I haven't begun to look yet. I am bringing the house tent so if you know of a decent spot I would be interested.

I think to keep it safe we will wait at the trail head until 11 to go mr.moose. I doubt you will take that long but just so you don't think we left you if we are 10 minutes late and your there exactly at 10.
I have been looking for a good spot to camp also. I'll need room to set up my house tent also. Been looking online for spots down the road closer to Alma

Whatever works. I have not looked yet. Out driving the beast listening,to some noises. Well what time after work you want to meet to head up. I don't know how early I can leave yet.

Sounds like its close to lime creek benson cabin trail. I stayed up there before and there was some good camping spots. I will have to check

Haha! Ive been looking down around the Weston Pass area. Its about 5 miles south of Fairplay. Close to the trail i think we may be up too high to find a good flat spot.
I planned on getting off as early as I can. I'm all packed up. I'd like to be on the road no later than 6:00 idealy to find a spot before dark
