If I put 1" spacers on my 60, do I have to cut the factory wheel studs down shorter?
Never used them before and I am curious, or is it better to go to a 1 1/2" spacer?

I would say if the current studs are shorter that 1" than you would be fine. if not, they will protrude for sure

Why do you need wheel spacers Jon? Most people's advice would be to avoid them and just get the right rim offset. I thought your truck looked perfect as it is.

The search for a lighter weight wheel in a 17x9. My steel pro comps are an ok wheel. Unless you look at the
pathetic powder coat on them. I am also researching how much weight reduction I get from going from a 29 lb steel
wheel, to an alloy wheel.
If anyone can find a 17x9 with 3.5" BS, doesn't look like it
belongs on a Bro' Truck, doesn't have fake crap beadlock chrome bolts, pointy studs, and/or cost $440 per
please let me know. Otherwise I shall look at wheel spacers.
As to the problems of running wheel spacers, I have seen enough trucks of all capabilities running them, and
I don't see anything inherently wrong or troublesome to having them. Like anything, don't buy junk, install
them correctly, maintain them.
Nick has learned I suffer from a tiny bit of OCD, so I'm asking.

I guess I could have named this thread -
