hey every one i drive a middy-fj73 its got 2" suspension and 1" shackle lift running 34 jungle trekers which scrub on the chassi and the inside of the rear gaurd. can get my hands on a set of wheel spacers but want to no if any one has had problems running them.

You been flexing things in all the washed out ruts at the powerlines?:D

When I switched from drums to disc on the front of my '71, my current (non-stock) wheels didn't clear the calipers. I ran some cheapo 1/4in. spacers for quite a while without any problems. I don't need them anymore though now that I picked up set of wheels with the proper backspacing.

Peter and i were chatting about this and the 2" MUST be checked constantly to make sure they are not coming loose...
i "think" i heard that Bruce had one coming loose on his expedition rig...

how do you find the 34'' JT2's ? what gearing you running? I'm thinking of running 33'' or 34'' JT2's but dont want to screw the gearing up to much. My 33'' claws rub like yours on the rear, I can nearly get the stock 31,10.5's to rub on the factory rims! Personally i'm looking at getting my rims cut and flipped to get my extra offset

cheers
