I put my 235x85x16s back on the lwb a few weeks ago after running the 33x9.50s all summer. I kind of missed the grey stock wheels. Sooooooooooo.............

Yeah it was a compromise, but I kind of like it. Both my wife and son think the white spokes look better.

Opinions wanted.:)

Every bit of literature I've seen has suggested that BLACK (not gray) was stock for our 60's pickups, Mark. And, of course, you've gone with a white roof. I think for your rig the white looks better. :)

I went from black to gray on my 45LPB, 81+ wheels, thought it worked well with the faded blue.......and I had them laying around ;)

I vote grey, but a little darker. I'm not a fan of the wagon wheels either. Like these

Thanks for the ops one and all. You've just about summarized ALL of my thoughts on the subject! I originally went with the white just cause that's the way they came. But when I repainted the roof and got the fiberglass bezel, then it just seemed to 'work' so well that way.

Then, like I said, I ran the 33x9.5s for the summer and got used to the grey. I tried the hubcap thing and just didn't like it. Just seemed to 'work' better for my tastes] ON THIS RIG without them. So that's what made me start wondering about repainting the wagon wheels.

Yeah I think if I could find a darker grey, it might change a couple of minds. So now the search is on. Rustoleum.........HERE I COME!;p

I dunno. Crossing those two women may be putting your life at risk....:D
