Thought about the stake sides (still love the look!)... decided on a more "modular" approach. The sides will be bolted to the deck via rivnuts - the pic below shows the feet in place over the rivnuts. The sides will be one-piece with a 30-degree bend. So, when bolted down... none of that typical stake-side wobble/rattle. Also, they come off and can be swapped for other TBD things like a rack, etc.

I agree. My wife needed a ride to the shop this morning and got dropped off earlier than usual, so that I could still get to work on time. She snapped it.
