What would you pay?

Im getting a 12,000 Km 1HZ out of a 2006 100 series.

Wondering what you all would pay for that?

That would be an entirely different proposition than a 1hz engine with 12,000km out of a mine truck. If I had a project for one I'd pay $5000cdn but I'd likely never find anything close for that money.

They are also weak compared to the H55f. They strip the splines on the output shaft,the synchros are useless and the bearings dont last.

Plenty of them have to be rebuilt before 150k klms

<i agree the H55F is WAY better, i love the H55F, perfect gearing for what i like to do, tough, easy shifting, quiet>

5k for just the engine
Putting that on a reco'ed 75 series box 5 spd man, dunno what is called. Might get the transfer kitted out with chrome molly, as i hear they shear idler gears easily.
