Adding another A pillar grab handle helpsI keep looking at these and thinking about putting them in my truck. My G/F is a short queen and hates climbing up into the 60, though I find it hysterical.
Haha. . .neither did I. I incorrectly assumed it would be straightforward, they’re not unless you can weld and fabricate your own brackets. Once that’s done though they’re awesome. I’m 6’3” and it was effort getting in w/ the 2”-2.5” lift and 33” tires. My wife and daughters had to pull themselves up. These look awesome when they’re stowed and are perfect height when deployed. I got mine off of Facebook Marketplace for like $500 too so it offset the cost of the fabrication work. At least that’s what I”m telling myself!huh. Those gauges look really nice. I put the speedhut gauges in and they’re. . .ok. They were half the cost of the Dakota apparently and they look ok but I’m still tinkering w/ them to get them dialed in. I’ve had a Dakota cluster in my 40 for 10 years and it’s been fantastic. They put out great products. (Said the guy who has their cruise control 1/2 the way installed. . )I keep looking at these and thinking about putting them in my truck. Do you have the dash mounted controller? That’s installed but it has no “feel” (for lack of a better description) when the buttons are pressed. How does it work generally speaking? That’s one upgrade I could really use since I do a lot of highway driving. Anyone have a better recommendation that’s a straightforward install? I’m all ears.Funny enough, the Dakota cruise control is the only thing in my build I regret. Built like crap. Maybe their gauges are from a different subvendor
