What Roof Cargo Box Fits?

Yes I could use little hardware store bolts or aluminum rivets. It's just frustrating that I can't buy they proper plastic rivet from Thule. I guess it's a liability measure for them.
I bet it has more to do with supply chain issues. Thule usually has a very extensive replacement part selection during normal times. Even for obsolete product.

Thule Atlantis 2100 fits. You can feel a slight wobble as the box itself isn’t ultra rigid. I think that’s maybe why on the force and other new thules you see all the angular impressions in the design…might up the rigidity.

In these times I would ordinarily say yes. The latch mechanism is called out in their parts schematic, but the part number isn't shown as available. I emailed them and they said "Unfortunately, the parts you requested are not available individually, since they are riveted into place. These components are assembled during the manufacturing process of the cargo carrier and cannot be installed by users in a way that guarantees the continued safe operation of the cargo carrier." It seems pretty dumb that a simple wear item like a plastic rivet can't be purchased separately. The latch mechanism won't function and allow the lid to close and lock if the latch arm isn't properly held in place on the lid. I'll just use aluminum rivets and fix it myself rather than go through the hassle of a warranty claim. This box has been essential for traveling in one vehicle with two small kids and two big dogs, but it's astonishing how much these things cost for what you get.

I would agree with that last statement. I have a 5 year old Yakima Skybox 21 and a 35 year old Yakima Rocketbox. Both owned since new. The newer Skybox, which is rarely used, feels flimsy and I have never trusted the latches, choosing to back them up with a cam strap around the box. Can’t tell you how many cars I have seen driving down the interstate with the box popped open and scattering the contents.

My ancient Rocketbox, which has been mounted consistently on a Land Cruiser since 1985, has never had an issue, never developed a leak, or opened when I didn’t want it to. Older is better in my experience.

I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for. I found on etrailer.com

I can only speak to my experience. However, we have Yakima Skybox 21 that we have used extensively when traveling with my wife, three kids and three dogs from the tip of Florida in Monsoon type conditions to Colorado in Blizzard conditions to the east coast and extensively in Texas hotter than Hades conditions for the last 10 years. Never a leak or glitch.

Yeah it "feels" loose when open but to add more structure would also add weight and once it's closed and locked, well it's closed and locked to all elements. This is just my experience and I am sure others have different experiences but the Skybox 21 has been a roadwarrior for us.

Our Yakima Skybox 21 has been going strong since 2013. It’s simple to adjust/attach to factory cross bars. Used it on a suburban for years and works equally well on the LC200.

I have used a portable motorcycle stand as a step to get into the box. It’s super strong and stable and folds up thin.

Picked up a new Inno 2020 box. REI had a 20% off sale recently that encouraged me to complete the purchase. I like it. It fits the things it's supposed to and can still squeeze into my garage.
