That boy's done sprouted on up! Nice looking T4R!
Dem look more like 265s or maybe 285s to me! Nevertheless, good looking rig!
New window tint in my new to me Tundra... Now I have a tow rig, just need a trailer. But, since I don't have any real time off for a while, it will down the road...
How's the mileage in that beast so far?
It's not great, but it's okay... Seems like I get around 14.5 back and forth to work... Got 17.5 when driving back from Memphis a couple of weeks ago.
Sounds like you need to put one of those Tornado things in your intake hose...
I sold a BUNCH of those back in tha day.
Dude, tornadoes are where it's at! It spiralizes and atomizes and awesomizes the air! Back in the day, I picked up 43 horsepower and doubled my MPG on my bicycle with one of those.
I bet you pronounced tornadoes lokec Amiri King in your head when you typed that.
The Cruiser got new NGK plugs/wires/cap/rotor. Also ripped out the nasty headliner, got the radio and interior light working, and cleaned up some other wiring. Started to do the brakes, until I realized you have to pull the hubs to do the front brakes. Think I'll wait until I replace the front housing for that job.
And, the Tacoma got new shoes.
The front rotors are bolted to the hubs. I didn't look at it real close, but it looks like you would have to pull the hub to swap them.
Oh, you’re doing rotors too. Yeah, gotta separate them. I thought you were talking about just pads.
Yeah, one of the rotors is garbage.
I like your style @nimrod712. 4 rigs in the driveway and 1 driver.
Not really a "Mod"....but more like a "back from the dead"....
I don't mean to make anyone jealous, but the cruiser got a brake light this weekend... Because I would hate for someone to rearend me on the trail and mar the paint on this beautiful vehicle...
And, the Taco got the cab mounts relocated. For those of you that don't know the issues with these on the 2nd gen tacomas, you can't really run anything bigger than a 285 (even with a 6" lift) without addressing these things. Toyota put them too far forward...
Factory, then my modified mounts from a few years ago, then the new mounts:
Got rid of my old man chrome nerf bars.
