What is your intake manifold vacuum (inHg)?

So if I'm at 16 with timing set right on the BB then I need to be finding more leaks...better get back to the bat cave!!

maybe, maybe not there are many other factors to the number.
this thread has the same amount of tech content in it, as talking about tread depth or what type of grease to use on muffler bearings.

About 20 thousand on my rebuilt 2F. It's a happy motor :)
 
That's the same gauge I've got in my dash, and that's exactly where it sits at idle once it's warmed up. My other gauge, the handheld one that I use for tuneups, always reads slightly lower. I don't know which one is right, but at least they're both consistent.

For the record, I'm at about 140k original miles.

My 2F had 171k when we rebuilt it. I bet it could have been a strong runner. It just had a ton a vacuum leaks and leaked oil everywhere. Knowing what I do now I'd approach a 2F much differently than I did with mine.

Got a little off-topic...

That's the first time I've ever read vacuum on my 2F because I don't own a handheld gauge. :whoops:
