What is the Smallest Pulley / Max Boost You Are Running?

I have a 2.6 pulley. I bought it already machined from Photoman a couple years back. It's wicked sounding and goes like stink when it's cool out. New radiator and blue hub fan clutch. I put the pulley in about 4 months ago. I am very judicious on the skinny pedal in heat. I've got a meth system on the way and an ultra gauge.

So with your 2.6" pulley and water meth system are you able to keep the motor from detonating? Also, is your engine stock, or did you upgrade any hardware, also what boost are you running with the 2.6"? I am guessing ~9.25 lb based on a 4.5 lb stock boost pressure with the TRD SC and a 3.25" pulley. Thanks in advance for your help, want to go to 2.6" but a little apprehensive.

I am running the 2.8 for nearly a year. Stock 3 degree advanced timing. I have to back out of throttle a littile when I hear it start to ping, but it is not that hard to manage. Max boost is about 8#. Planning on water injection but not running it yet. Have not tinkered with timing yet, but planning on that in the fall.

No meth njection, just upgraded cooling system. 10# is what I could hit (sold the truck) and I generally kept it to 8# with the skinny pedal. Ran it for a few years and 0 issues.
