Damned if that there ain't enuff to make a man homesick ... :frown:

Been on the friggin' road over three weeks already and still gotta pull me more than another week to finish off this here hitch ...

Pay's the bills though ...

And on Saturday night, 04 August, don't you be doubtin' for a minute that my sorry ass is gonna be sittin' under the awnin' of the shop at The 3X's drinkin' me some beer and listenin' to The Range on the stereo.

Body's on East Coast Time this week ... West Coast Time next week ... but my mind's always on Elwood Time By Gawd!! :grinpimp:

:flamingo:

I am the opposite Kowboy, I am sick of being home. need to be out of Brownsvile, perhaps where my phone don't work.

Getting ready to go see Mickey, again, to Orlando, and to make things even better we are driving next week.

Darn Bridge repairs are getting complicated.

I am going out for a week. When I leave for a week, I have to plan for a period of 2 weeks, even though it's just one.

Anyway, this week Mexican Customs decided to seized 2 boom lifts and a fork lift. Oh! and on top of that 3 cheese heads from Wisconsin that are working on the Mexican side. Problem got resolved after I made a visit to the new Mexican Customs Port Director and explained our situation.

By then my stress was killing me I feel like I am similing all the time but the fact is that my face muscles are so tense and I can relax them.

I went to see the Doctor and gave some vitamin for the brain, pain killers for muscles and Yesterday I went back because chest pains don't diminish. The Doctor gave some antidepressan and told me to get out here.

I know it's not home, it's my job. Unfortunately the good jobs are very limited in this area. So I have to pay the price for being home and having a good /and a very stressful job.

I am still on undecided to whic event to go. Flat nast, Southern cruiser crawl or Clayton. what type of event it Clayton? who organizes that one?

Talking about a beer, that same day when the seized goods, I had a birthday party to go. I drank 3 beers , but I could not stay that late because I had a meeting in the morning.

I hate that part of me, I have to be responsible!

Hopefully this coming week I can make up health and drinking more then 3 beers.

Like I said it before, going out wheeling w/ you guys it's my relief of stress, but lately I haven't gone anywhere.

I am seriously considering do the samethang like Kowboy, our fearless leader, go to a Theraphyst. Ja! Ja! Ja! either that or become an alcoholic. that same nite I had 3 beers and a good night sleep.

Dave How about that Spanish? you still learning?

I think being an alcoholic is cheaper. Even if it ain't, it sure is more funner.

Sorry to hear about the job BS. It happens to most all of us folks. For me, it's my service mgr. He's a prick. I want to rip off his head and s*** down his neck hole. But other than that, things are just great. Still makes me knock back a few at night.

Keep yer head up. We'll see ya on the trail (or at camp drinkin' Kowboy's beer:eek:).

Now that I have had the chance to meet you in person, that's even funnier than it woulda been otherwise!

Sure enough, there's nothin like being out on the road to make you get a different perspective on home. Wife and I are currently in the panhandle of Idaho, talking about our future. Average income in this area is 28-30k, which is kinda scary. Mighty fine country, but a hard life nonetheless.

I was tellin the wife that IMO, most folks in these parts must be doin like our fireman, runnin 3 or 4 gigs at the same time tryin to get just a little ahead of the taxman. Makes me appreciate what I've got a whole lot more.

Butch, what was this thread about anyways?;p Seriously, wife and I just watched the video. Good stuff. Thanks for the link.

Now sell me that guitar!;p

The worst thing about working so damn much is that you get used to it; and then when you are at home you feel like you should be working at something. Kinda f****d up that what you work the hardest for and when you get to enjoy it your kinda somewhere else. That's really screwed up. Maybe I just drank too many margaritas?

JP,

How bout I come work on your damn bridge next week and you can go to beautiful Gulfport, MS. All you have to do is wear a chemical warfare suit and chem mask, defend your area with an M-16 (with blanks) from attackers, work 12 hour shifts and answer stupid ass questions from a****** inspectors all day. The beauty of it all is that you will probably loose 10lbs a day from sweating and will sleep really well because you will be so damn tired! Oh, did I tell you that you can't drink beer all week? That too. Let me know if you wanna trade.

The FlatNasty gig is just that ... flat-friggin'-nasty By Gawd. Not much for easy or moderate rigs ... mainly hardcore stuff.

The Southern Cruiser Crawl is pretty much the opposite ... great stuff for easy and moderate rigs ... not much hard core stuff.

Clayton is a White Trash event so we'll be organizin' it. Mainly gonna be hard core runs for a coupla days.

So you could wheel the Cruier Crawl or jump in an open seat for the others. Take your pick ... hope this helps.

As for all the other stuff you posted up ... just drink heavily my lil' Mes'kin brother ... just drink heavily.
