Yes, those are the Marlin LCA braces. They're nice. Mine were not compatible with the Total Chaos cam tab kit though. I ended up opting to do the LCA brackets as they protect that general area better than just cam tabs would.

The alignment tabs are from Bison Off-road. No complaints so far.

I got tired of having my alignment tweaked after every off-road trip with the factory hardware.
Thanks. The alignment shop is going to reset mine on Thursday....after which I'll re-tighten periodically, then install the Marlin LCA braces and and Bison tabs if it gets knocked loose again.

Looks like you have the adjustable JBA UCA's. I have fixed Ironman UCA's. Are they able to get the alignment dialed in with that setup? Really not wanting to have to swap out my UCAs to a JBA or SPC to get more adjustment with the Bison tabs, as my UCAs are only 6 months old, but I might have to go that route if I can't get the stock setup to stay put.

Which bison tabs did y’all use? When I checked their website, I didn’t see anything for Lexus. Go with the 4runner 03-09 stop cam kit?

Pulled an antenna cable from the console box to the back of the car.

Prevent

Preventative maintenance. R1 brakes, Brake stop lines and replacing leaky radiator. Feels good to work on my own vehicle now. Not sure what they did at recent 120k mile dealer service but poking around didn’t show much love. For what dealer wanted to charge for just radiator, I did radiator, brakes, hoses, thermostat and a new compressor.

Nice!! Always feels good working on your own car.
Same here, I bought a car with records of a Lexus dealership doing the water pump/t-stat and along with other things (done at 113k miles and bought it at 120k) and definitely looks like a s***ty shop did the work… Shame.

I just had all my fluids changed a couple of days ago. Today was the rear bumper trim. The flapper wheel is a good trick to smooth the cut.
I like the extra clearance and it looks clean.
Got my rig ready for a lift about to happen in a couple of weeks. Looking forward to that! 👍

Unfortunately I have a weird pulse going on. Going back to double check everything. Arrrgh, no dealership to complain to, it’s all me now. Worth it for now

organized a group ride to a local ORV park. Had about 15 or so rigs show up and about half left with serious damage. The ice absolutely ate us up.

I'm going to have to pick up some of those Bison Offroad alignment tabs. I see that they have three versions available.

TOYOTA – TACOMA 05-15 4RUNNER 2003-2009 STOP CAM KIT
TOYOTA – TACOMA 16- 21 / 4RUNNER 2010-2021 STOP CAM KIT
TOYOTA – TUNDRA 07-20 Cam Kit

I'm assuming the TACOMA 05-15 4RUNNER 2003-2009 are the set that fits the GX?

I'm sure you could call the company and they could sort it out.

Sorry, I'm away from my stack of invoices so I can't confirm at the moment.

Is there a huge difference between these Bison tabs and Taco tabs? Because I know that there are Taco tabs that fit ours specifically.

I had the Taco tabs before. They don't fit with the Marlin LCA kit. The Bison tabs are octagonal and don't extend past the cam tabs like the taco tabs do on the top-edge of the cam tab.

Ooh. I see. Can those pieces on the taco tabs be shaved down to fit? Just trying to open some options up as I plan to go same route one day.

You could grind them off easy enough.
I didn't see the benefit of them over the Bison tabs though because the taco tabs come with a set of tabs to give a negative/positive setting, then another set of tabs to give a neutral setting. The shape of the bison tabs allows one tab to provide each setting.

Modifying something so it can fit with less features seemed inefficient.

My alignment problem mentioned earlier actually ended up being a loose steering rack (all tightened now and the GX drives great). Although my alignment cam nuts had loosened a bit, the cams hadn't moved when the shop checked the alignment. So, at least for my application (slow wheeling on 32's with nothing too crazy and no whooping jumps), the Taco/Bison tabs may not be needed.

That being said, I'm still going to do the Marlin LCA braces the next time I do some front suspension work on the GX. Seems to be a cheap upgrade for some strength in that area.

Nice!
I need to check my rack bolts the next time the skid plates are off.
I know white oak makes a poly bushing for the rack I'll be installing when it comes time to swap racks.
