Tire quality has come a long way.
No need to put weights in the front any longer 😉

I figured that much. Just didn't know if they used tape (adhesive) weights or clip-on weights on the back.

Either way, looks great.
At the shop I go to they use stick on (adhesive) to get them in the center or as close to the out side as they can get it if necessary. Or clamp on if it need to be near the inside of the wheel

Easy win today. New hood insulator installed.

After my 1HZ rebuild I used the Second Skin kit. Both their peel & stick Damplifier stuff and that mylar wrapped jute junk. Jute didn't hold up but the Damplifier does a great job of both making the hood 394 lbs heavier and keeping sound down. I went over that with the OEM insulator. See how is does.

Got asked for the engine crane back... So I better move the engine to where it is supposed to be (in the engine bay)

First, needed to sort the backing plate out, but found I'd left it for so long mud wasps had decided the bolt holes were good nesting spots... After much cleaning, the threads were clear for all the flywheel bolts

Which #1 apprentice decided I needed help with.
