Second thought about the trip:
I was thinking to go to ski resort in the mountain with snow covered road. It is required to have 4x4 capability to go up to the mountain. But the road is maintained so well that any car can drive up to the ski resort. I lost my chance to brag about my awesome land cruiser legendary 4x4 ability

On the last day of skiing, it started to snow really heavy. It is white out on top of the mountain. But still no issues for any car to go up or down.
So the question is
What is a good area to show off land cruiser off-road ability for the whole family near Houston?
