i can see it now driving to CO. the roads are iced, cars stranded on the side of the road bret pulls up at the gas station not to get gas (cuz its diesel) just for a burrito and brew .. gets out of the truck wearing flip flops, shorts @ t-shirt off he goes. a kind-of domesticated version of mad max.

I like Lowtiderider's suggestion of Bret stop by GSMTR with it the new rig... although not exactly on the way

The trip this year looks to be shaping up as a great run, I would love to hit GSMTR on the way back but I will need to get the truck prior to that. And 1800 miles doing 50mph could get old. The 1200 straight back is going to be long enough I'm sure. I'd feel better having a chance to really go through the truck before I started officially started road tripping with it. Main reason to drive back is the $3 plus a mile to ship is out of the budget right now.

I get enough looks jumping out of the 40 with shorts and t-shirt in the winter, getting out of the 5 ton won't help I'm sure. I will have to remember to try that if we get some decent snow though!

Went for a round trip through Aspen (good grief there were a ton of private jets at the airport stacked up like cord wood!) to Carbondale down through Delta to Montrose and back home. Had to go to Home Chepot ya know! Have te resize pics...

congrats you found something that better suites you a nd Dolly. and at the same time sorry to hear your leaving that out door paradise. when are you leaving CO?

Heading back to MT, looking at a house on North side of Flathad lake. Y'all may have to come further North. Still will have contacts etc. for any CO trips.

Finally started to get my crap together, made a short video of a run up Blacktail Mtn. Also known as Wild Bill Trail. Not much technical, but a nice place close to the house to go. Two of the primary groups up here (Skyliners and Big Sky 4 Wheelers) have put a lot of effort in getting and maintaining an area for the off road community. I will post a link to the video and some pics below as soon as they upload.

Hope everyone is doing well and gearing up for the upcoming holidays.
