I like both but the two tone just has that thing about it.

That looks like a solid trail rig for a really good price.

Even if the OME is "tired" - - just mean needs new struts? I don't see the leaf springs sagging a bit being a huge issue??

May need some carb work?

I still like the looks of this one:

He came down $600 so far.

That two tone is nice and looks really clean. If I could justify a forth vehicle I would be tempted but I think I already know the wife's answer to that endeavor.

Ok I love my truck BUT... I've contacted this gentleman, he has a 87 GTI on craigslist. it has 991k on it I've yet to see anything other than one Cheby run that high. He told it me it was an all original drivetrain never opened up. http://kansascity.craigslist.org/cto/3649954038.html
Incredible.

First off, I am a huge fan of mk2 vw's.. I regrettably just sold my '91 jetta gli. This guy's gti has been on CL for almost a year and he is asking a 2k too much imho.. He used to have it listed for $5000.
Secondly, mechanical odometers in vw's always break and malfunction.. Also, having aftermarket white faces on the cluster raises suspicion. I have never heard of a 16v having more than 300k miles. just my .02

This guy 'ruined' his life lol

Toyota TRD Ivan Stewart Wheels - $400 (Republic)

So are they worth the $400 the guy was asking? He finaly got back with me about them. I'd post a pic of the worst one If I knew how.

Whats $400? Im lost as to what ur asking a value on? The wheels? Probably yes. I pd that for steel ones for my 45

Sent from my phone using IH8MUD

There is access to lathes in the club if you ask the right people. Machining probably isnt more than $10 a wheel if u had a shop do it.

Me being one of those people. What did you end up selling your 80 wheels for, if I may ask?
I think I'm going to pass on the Ivan wheels. Don't want to spend extra $$$ to machine the centers out.

I haven't. i'd rather them sit just in case i need them then sell for less than $350 for the set.

When i started looking at rims not many of the aftermarket rims stell and aluminum are rated for more than 2100#'s and the cruiser wheels are north of 3000#

Did not know that. Thanks
