Weathertech vs. Husky

I've used both but my vote goes to WeatherTech based on their CEO's Pro-America stance.

David MacNeil (CEO) has written many times about what he and his company are doing to keep Americans employed and to keep manufacturing here in the United States. If both product are 'equal', which I believe thay are, I'll go with WeatherTech everytime because of their commitment to this Country !

Rgds...

P.S. You can read David's comment at their website: I wish all CEO's expressed themselves and took a position like he does !

I agree with you but I think it's funny that it was brought up about floor mats for our Japanese vehicles. Am I the only one who sees the irony in this?

Can anyone confirm that the Catch-All Xtreme actually does fit an 80 series? They look pretty nice..

Do you have any pics of this mat in your car. I checked several sites and all of them say this mat will not fit my 94 LC.

Thank you!

Shipwreck-

That looks like a good option. Is it hard plastic, does your foot slid all over the place when wet?

Bringing this back up because I've gotten a few requests for pics of the CatchAlls in my truck. I didn't know that floormats were considered tech :)
I got around to taking pics after the latest request this week.

Anyway, here's the deal on the Nifty floormats...most sites now only list these for 100 series cruisers. Three years ago when I bought mine, they had the same part# for both 80 and 100 series. I received these as a gift and when they arrived, the box listed the application for 98+ Land Cruisers but the part# was #405412 which was correct for 91+ according to my research. I thought I'd have to send them back due to the description, but sure enough they fit great. They are not hard plastic but a firm textured rubber.

According to the Nifty website the part #'s for the fronts are as follows
#405401 - Black
#405402 - Grey
#405412 - Tan (which I have)
I have no knowledge of the 2nd row or rear mats. Someone else will have to check on those. ;)

Here's the pics you requested Schwein. HTH

i had some version of the niftys when i got my 80. 1st thing i removed. fit was pretty bad and they were very intrusive. i ended up using an old pair of mcneils for the fronts and a husky for the 2nd row and a mcneils for the rear.

Whichever way you go I want to put out a plug for truckaddons.com

I ordered a set of Husky liners from them for the 80. They had the best pricing on the net. Less than 200.00 for front, middle and cargo including shipping. Unfortunately the cargo is apparently no longer being made or available.

When I called to check on the cargo, I saw it was canceled these guys dug up a tan WeatherTech cargo mat for me. While I was on the phone they called around until the found one. Shipped it to me it to me for the same price as the Husky.

Awesome customer service.
