Hi People, well it is Sunday morning and the BJ 74 is getting packed . There is 150 bucks of fuel on board. We will be in Grande Prairie monday nite sometime. Skylar is off to Grandpas and we will be running up on the Alaska Highway. Everything is well greased all the camping gear is there including extra fuel. I wont be at Cruiser Days or the meeting on the 10th So be good and we will be back in a couple of weeks.

Hi, well we are in Grande Prairie right now and planning where to go from here, Alaska Highway or visit some fellow CruiserHeads. The BJ 74 did great we averaged 28mpg with an average of 88km/h. Will keep you guys posted. It was 7 degrees celcius going through Dawson Creek last nite and almost got nailed by a pretty big Moose (around 2 AM) Keep you posted

 In a BJ74 that would be flattened not nailed - unless of course he does a karate kick and puts one hoof through the front window. :hhmm: Ya, that would be nailed. :hillbilly:

I understand the shock. I narrowly missed a bull once on Hwy 3 just past Greenwood. Managed to miss his body and just clip a rear leg with my mirror.

I recommend you at least go to Whitehorse and down to Skagway and to Atlin. If you feel up to it, there is always the North Canol Road to go and play at. :D

That's good mileage for a lifted 74 on 33s, better than I get with 31" street tires and no lift. I probably don't spend enough time at 88 km/h though...

How's the Mark's transfer case working? Whiny? Not whiny?

Have a great trip, watch out for them Meese.

Be careful around them Meese, I understand its "that" time of the year...

Thanks for the LAUGH Jeff, that is what almost happened to us that nite. Today we are heading to Fort ST JOHN to see some TLCa MEMBERS AND THEN TO NWT. jUST cAROLYN AND mE. The back seat is out of the 74 for sleeping We are loaded up and ready to roll. Norm the gears dont whine that much at all. I am running SWEPCO in the Xfer case it looks like auto transmission fluid. I dont believe other 13BT owners when they say they get 11l/100km I dont think it can be done even at 60km/h We will check in soon.
